Matty is an Economics and Finance student at Georgetown and The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is currently a congressional intern going into financial accounting for AT&T and loves to write and read daily news! Matty has also excelled in both congressional and extemporaneous speaking in Washington State as well as raised thousands of dollars for US congressional representatives! 

Jack is a student at Western Washington University studying physics, and political science. He is currently a coach for the Bellingham United Debate Team, and competes on the university team. Jack in the past has raced internationally for the United States Sprint Canoe & Kayak Team, and participated in three years of congressional debate with national accolades in legislative writing. He enjoys researching policy and writing about its potential outcomes, while maintaining a goal of working in radioastronomy with a focus in SETI in the future.

Avalon is from Mount Vernon, Washington. She is a Freshman at Whitman College and plans to major in Psychology and Politics. In high school she competed in Speech and Debate all four years and even was state champ in Congressional Debate. She is passionate about politics and the process of delivering news that people can trust.

Bozena is a student at North Park University in Chicago, majoring in communications. She is studying to be an investigative journalist, seeking out experience and involvement in the many resources offered by the city of Chicago and its proximity to culturally significant events and diverse experiences. She has done extensive writing in the past for school newspapers, and enjoys reading and podcasts, including listening to daily news.
